Lüderitz is a harbour town in the ǁKaras Region of southern Namibia, lying on one of the least hospitable coasts in Africa. The town is known for its German colonial buildings, including the art nouveau Goerke Haus, built into the rock face on Diamond Hill. Nearby, Felsenkirche is a hilltop church with panoramic bay view’s stretching around to Robert Harbor and Shark Island. The Lüderitz Museum has displays about the town’s diamond-mining past as well as local inhabitants & natural history
